One Jackson resident is pleading for answers to escape motorcycle noise he says is happening near his home.
John Holt said he has been turning to law enforcement regarding a complaint about noise from a nearby motorcycle club.
"We tried to sell our home so we wouldn't have to go back there," Holt said. "But we couldn't sell it because of the area it's in. What else can we do? We worked all our life to pay for what little we've got. It might not be a lot to some people, but it's all we got."
Holt said a member of the club tried to reason with him.
"We tried to talk to him," said Ramond Wall, a member of Outcast Motorcycle Club. "We can't help that our motorcycles are loud. Anybody knows that a Harley-Davidson is a loud motorcycle. We can't help that, and we talked to him. We worked with him. I don't know what else to say about it."
Wall said there are 16 members of the motorcycle club and they have a permit to be in the area.
Police Chief Joseph Wade said there may be a zoning issue in the neighborhood. He said city leaders will be investigating whether the motorcycle club is a nuisance.
