Rwandan-Kenyan artist Isacco set for grand return at Paris’s Casino de Paris

Musician Isacco set to perform in Paris Musician Murwanashyaka Nzabonimana, popularly known as Isacco, is a testament to the power of cultural fusion in music.

Born in Rwanda, raised in Kenya, and now making waves in Paris, Isacco’has opened up on how his sound, deeply rooted in Rwandan tradition, shaped by Kenya’s dynamic music scene, and refined in France’s multicultural capital, reflects a life woven across borders.

Isacco is set to grace the stage at the iconic Casino de Paris on July 4, opening for Ivorian coupé-décalé superstar Debordo Leekunfa. This performance marks his highly anticipated return after a creative hiatus, during which he focused on crafting his upcoming album.

Fans can expect an electrifying show, featuring a sneak peek of a new track slated for release in July. When asked about his preparation for the tour, Isacco emphasises dedication to his craft. “I pour everything into rehearsals perfecting my vocals, stage presence, and connection with the audience,” he shares. “My goal is to deliver high-energy, heartfelt performances that leave fans with an unforgettable experience.”

Beyond the spectacle, Isacco hopes his music resonates on a deeper level. “I want fans to feel the passion and emotion I put into every song,” he says. “More than just a show, I hope they leave with a stronger connection to my art and our shared cultural roots.”

Living abroad has not dimmed Isacco’s ties to his Rwandan heritage. “Music keeps me rooted,” he explains.

Through collaborations with African artists, engagement with the diaspora community in France, and the infusion of traditional elements into his work, he honours his origins while evolving as a global artist.

Following the tour, Isacco is set to release a new album featuring exciting collaborations. “This project reflects my artistic growth a blend of my heritage and fresh influences,” he teases. Fans can anticipate a bold, innovative sound that stays true to his identity.

When he’s not creating music, Isacco enjoys unwinding on the football pitch. “I’m a huge football fan playing with friends keeps me energised,” he reveals.

He also finds inspiration in reading and spending quality time with loved ones, balancing the demands of artistry with personal fulfilment.
