A Rockford favorite returns. Here's a list of who's performing at Dinner on the Dock 2025

A summer favorite returned last week with the first Dinner of the Dock of 2025 at Prairie Street Brewing Co., 200 Prairie St. along the Rock River.

As in previous summers, the summerlong event features live music (the season opened with Rockford band, the Mystery Dates) and food and drinks on the PSB dock every Thursday night from May through September.

Shows are free and open to all ages.

The 2025 lineup has a little bit of everything from rock and roll to blues and funk.

Here's a list of who's performing this season and when.

May 22: Madison-based Rare Element is a seven-piece, high-energy funk band.

May 29: Ernie Hendrickson is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Illinois.

June 5: Chicago's Dark Dun is a headbanging heavy rock band

June 12: Danielle Juhre is a Nashville-based contemporary singer-songwriter.

June 19: STEREOtype of Rockford performs pop-punk and rock.

June 26: Boom Boom Room brings a mix of rock, blues, funk, and soul from the '70s to today.

July 3: RAMI award-winning Blue Steel plays a blend of country and rock.

July 10: PettyCash is a celebration of the music of two legends: Tom Petty and Johnny Cash.

July 17: Sunset Strip is the ultimate '80s Hairband Tribute from Rockford.

July 24: Indika Reggae Band blends reggae, soca, calypso, R&B, jazz and more.

July 31: Rockford's Harlan Jefferson is a versatile saxophonist, flutist, vocalist, composer and actor.

Aug 7: The Tree Dogs are dedicated to preserving the art of rock and roll in Rockford.

Aug. 14: Rockford-based Miles Nielsen performs with Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts.

Aug. 21: Lola Blu is a rising country singer-songwriter from Rockford.

Aug. 28: Random AF is a high-energy cover band from Rockford, known for electrifying performances.

Sept. 4: Flannel Daze is a rock-alternative and grunge cover band from Rockford.

About Dinner on the Dock

Seating begins at 4 p.m. Live music is from 6 to 9 p.m. The kitchen closes at 10 p.m., and the bar stays open until at least 11 p.m.

Dinner on the Dock offers a few different options to enjoy the evening. You can make table reservations for a prime spot on the dock or try your luck with open seating. You can also pull up and enjoy the show from a boat on the Rock River or bring a lawn chair or two and find a spot on the lower dock to enjoy the show.
