For 2025, Yamaha has launched the updated Aerox 155. The Maxi scooter gets minor updates over the existing model. This includes a small update to the powertrain and cosmetic upgrades to the top-spec S trim of Aerox 155.
2025 Yamaha Aerox: What’s new?
The top-spec Aerox 155 S comes with a new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour option, which replaces the Grey Vermillion shade. While the iconic Racing Blue scheme continues to be offered, Yamaha has added new body graphics to this shade. Thus, giving the maxi scooter a fresh visual appeal. Meanwhile, Yamaha continues to offer the standard model in a Metallic Black paint.
The standard variant of the Aerox is priced at Rs. 1,50,130 whereas the S trim is priced at Rs 1,53,430, respectively (both prices are ex-showroom). The Japanese two-wheeler brand increased the prices of the Aerox last month and hence the company has decided not to increase prices for the Aerox 155 this time.

2025 Yamaha Aerox: Specs & Features
Technical highlights of the Aerox 155 remain unchanged. Powering the Yamaha Aerox 155 is a 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 14.75 bhp and 13.9 Nm of peak torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic transmission. This powertrain is now OBD2B compliant.
In terms of features, the Aerox continues to boast amenities like LED headlights with position lamps, LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a multifunction key, turn-by-turn navigation, an automatic start-stop system, side-stand engine immobiliser, and single-channel ABS. The S variant adds even more convenience with a Smart Key that unlocks a range of user-friendly functions.
Based on the same platform as Yamaha R15 and MT-15, the Aerox 155 sits on telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The Maxi scooter rolls on 14-inch alloy wheels. Anchorage is handled by disc brakes at both ends complemented by dual-channel ABS.
