Bajaj Auto has neglected the Dominar 400 for the longest time but the power cruiser may finally receive a much needed and deserved update soon. Earlier this year, spy shots of the Dominar 400 surfaced on the internet suggesting that the flagship Bajaj is bound for a mild update.
The Dominar is one of the most underrated motorcycles on sale in the market today offering performance and comfort that makes it an ideal choice for highway touring. The 2025 Dominar 400 has now started reaching dealerships. This can be confirmed through a short video on YouTube. The clip highlights the major update on the power cruiser
2025 Bajaj Dominar 400: Changes expected
The bike now gets a fully-digital, coloured LCD instrument panel with the same layout as the Pulsar NS400Z. With the new instrument cluster, the Dominar 400 will finally get Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. The other noticeable change is the second set of tell-tale lights on the fuel tank that have been replaced with a USB charging port. Both new features enhance the Dominar’s profile as a touring motorcycle.
There are reports of Bajaj including a ride-by-wire and ABS modes such as Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road to the package. Rest of the details are expected to remain identical to the outgoing model. In its upcoming iteration, Bajaj will continue to offer the Dominar 400 in a single variant that comes with touring accessories like a functional windscreen, knuckle guards, a rear luggage rack ,and a pillion backrest as standard fitment.
Powering the Dominar 400 will be the same 373.3cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motor churns out 39.42 bhp at 8,800rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 6,500rpm. This unit will now be compliant with the latest OBD-2B norms.
