SHERMAN, Tx (KTEN) - It's not something you see every day in Texoma.
A stunt rider who shows off his skills inside a wooden race track, also known as the Wall of Death.
" This is the great great grandfather of motorcycle stunt shows, " said Joel Vinson, a fan of the Wall of Death.
The stuntman goes by Rhett Rotten, and he's been performing motorcycle shows nationwide.
" The owner and general manager was visiting out in Sturgis, which is one of the world's largest motorcycle rallies. He said my biggest inspiration to have you there is to bring the community closer. That's what we gravitate towards is life on two wheels," said Rhett Rotten, a motorcycle stunt man.
This week's show, a chance for him to share his love for stunts and vintage motorcycles to Texomans.
Something that the stunt rider has had a passion for since he was 17 years old.
" It's almost like a walk back in time. These things you actually kick your motorcycle to life versus pushing a button with a battery. Riding a motorcycle has been more than a dream come true," said Rotten.
Motorcyclists like Joel Vinson took a bike ride from Mobile, Alabama, to see Rhett Rotten on two wheels.
" This is what riding bikes is all about —traveling, seeing the country on your bike, experiencing life outside. Not stuck inside your phone," said Vinson.
Rhett Rotten hopes his Wall of Death show will help inspire others to go full throttle not just on the road, but also in life.
" My main passion is build each other up, so we go home and tackle our careers with everything we got," said Rotten.
