India will aim to lift their maiden T20 World Cup title

India will be aiming to lift their maiden T20 World Cup title under skipper Harmanpreet Kaur after closely missing out on lifting the elusive trophy in the last edition in 2022. The Women in Blue made it to the semifinals in the T20 World Cup 2022 where they lost against Australia by 5 runs to bow out of the tournament.

Australia went on to beat South Africa by 19 runs in the final to lift their fifth title. India have seen influx of fresh talent in their T20 squad with the rise of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) and will be looking to go the distance in familiar conditions in Bangladesh this time around.
