A motorcycle rider from Santa Fe, New Mexico, died Saturday after colliding with a Dodge pickup truck on Colo. 69.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened at 4 p.m. on Colo. 69 and CR 1A in Fremont County. The driver and passenger in the pickup truck, who are from Colorado Springs, were uninjured.
The motorcycle rider died at the scene. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in this crash.
Colo. 69 was closed just north of the intersection for more than four hours.
CSP stated names of those involved are not being released until next of kin can be notified.
