Happy sunday and Happy Mother's Day. Everyone, I'm meteorologist roberts are with the check of your forecast. We really lucked out today with that rain very little actually fell. There's not much left across the state here. That's kind of where the cold front is. A couple of showers and thunderstorms pressing into central sections of the state. And as we zoom this out here, that remaining precipitation now is really piddling. Now we do have some storms across western Tennessee and a whole big slug of moisture across northern sections of pennsylvania and southern new york. In fact, you are seeing some snowfall across north central pennsylvania, northwestern pennsylvania snowfall on Mother's Day. That is very, very rare for that part of the country, but it is happening temperatures for us. It's chilly, man. Look at Eureka Springs 54 mostly lower to mid fifties, where that cold front is continuing to side through, still quite mild in the river valley, but this colder air will be sliding in your direction here over the next 8 to 10 hours or so, and we are on tap for a pretty chilly start to the work week. Tonight temperatures well below normal, stuck in the mid to upper forties out there with lots of clouds and as I said, well below normal temperatures, watching for a couple of stray sprinkles that might be possible as we get toward dawn. A very narrow window for those sprinkles probably between five and eight a.m. five and nine am, extremely widely scattered. They there may be one or two in Benton County and then two or three, maybe southern River Valley and everybody in the middle sees nothing, so just maybe have the umbrella within arm's reach tomorrow morning. After that it will stay chilly and we will see some afternoon clearing out there. But look at those temperatures stuck in the lower to mid sixties and a good part of the day, especially across northwest Arkansas will be spent in the mid to upper fifties. We may creep into lower sixties for just an hour or two tomorrow, late in the afternoon. If we can get enough sunshine, I'll tell you how long this chilly temperatures will last for the region and what our next chance for widespread rainfall will come in. My full forecast tonight at five and 69 On the CWM, back on ACC at 10, have a good evening everyone.
