James Bragg, 33, hit a deer and crashed on Ferry Road around 8 p.m. Tuesday
A Lisbon man is seriously injured after hitting a deer with his motorcycle Tuesday night.
Police say James Bragg, 33, was driving a 2008 Yamaha Raider motorcycle on Ferry Road around 8 p.m. when he collided with a deer. He sustained serious head injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
The Lisbon Police Department, Lisbon Fire Department and Lisbon Emergency all responded to the scene. Life Flight was activated but later canceled when Bragg was taken to CMMC by emergency crews. The Lewiston Police Department was called to the scene to assist with reconstruction.
The crash remains under investigation. Police are asking any witnesses to call (207) 353-2500 ext. 1 and ask for Detective Sibley.
