HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities are on the hunt for suspects smashed into a Honda dealership in north Houston.

Police were called to the Honda dealership located on I-45 at Midland around 4:00 a.m.

Truck used to smash door at motorcycle dealership off I-45.

The suspected thieves used a stolen pick-up truck with a metal chain to snatch the hinges off the door of the V1 Moto Ducati Honda dealership, according to authorities.

The owner told Eyewitness News that the thieves managed to get three Honda dirt bikes out of the store before being chased away by a wrecker driver.

Police say this is the second time in the past few days a smash-and-grab burglary has occurred at the dealership.

"We just got hit a few days ago," said Honda dealership owner Carlos Lescale. "They have been going to every single dealership in town, car and motorcycle dealerships, trying to steal motorcycles."
