Man dead after motorcycle crashes into concrete barrier

A Mount Laurel man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a concrete median on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to State Police.

Jairo Jimenez, 29, was driving northbound on the Turnpike when he crashed his Yamaha motorcycle into a concrete median near the 7A exit at 1:35 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. Lawrence Peel said.

Jimenez was ejected off his bike after crashing into the media causing fatal injuries, he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Peel.

No other cars or vehicles were involved in the crash.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation by the NJ State Police.
