Kuwait 3rd in UAE motor race

KUWAIT, Jan 7 (KUNA) -- Racing champion Meshaal Al-Fahad came third on Saturday in Tal Mer'eb four-wheel motorcycles' championship in Umm Al-Qaiwain, the United Arab Emirates.
In the open category, the UAE racer Mohammad Al-Qassemi came first, followed by his fellow citizen, Amer Al-Sulaimi.
Al-Fahad who represented Basel Salem Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club, told KUNA by telephone that the racing, held in Liwa, Umm Al-Qaiwain, drew a large number of top racers from various countries.
Up to 50 racers took part in the race. They represented the GCC countries, the United States of America and Australia. (end) ayr.rk
